Neoware

Is a broad term used to encompass various technologies that are designed to replace or enhance any part of the character or creature's body. This includes:

Cybernetics

These are devices installed within the body that are typically small and non-essential to the body's normal functions. However, they are installed to enhance or improve a variety of bodily or mental functions. For example, an individual might have a cybernetic implant that enhances their cognitive processing speed.

Bionics

These are mechanical replacements for body parts such as limbs and organs. They are considered integral parts of the body and may even house additional cybernetic implants within them. For instance, a bionic arm could contain a cybernetic device that enhances strength or precision.

Bioware

This technology involves DNA-matched lab-grown replacements for body parts. These replacements can be enhanced beyond their normal organic function, offering superior performance. For instance, a Bioware heart could be designed to improve cardiovascular endurance.

Nanoware

This is a combination of mechanical and organic enhancements, augmented with nanobots. These nanobots can repair damage, fight off infections, and even enhance the performance of the body part they inhabit. For example, Nanoware in the brain might enhance neural connections to improve memory or learning speed.

All these technologies offer individuals the opportunity to go beyond their natural physical and cognitive limits, opening up new possibilities for performance.
